Helping you understand what your child needs - and what might help

When something isn’t going well for your child, it isn’t always obvious what to do next. I help families make sense of what’s happening and work out practical ways forward.

Starting with the individual child

Every child is different. I work with children with a wide range of developmental communication, learning and behavioural needs - from families beginning to wonder whether their child needs additional support, to children with established diagnoses and more complex needs.

I take time to understand the individual child: their strengths, how they communicate, what they find difficult, what matters to them and what may be getting in the way. From there, we can identify practical, meaningful ways to help them develop, participate and thrive.

Support that fits the child

There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Support might focus on communication, learning, play, independence, coping with everyday situations or daily routines. What we work on — and how — depends on the individual and what will make a meaningful difference to them and their family.

Not sure what kind of help you need?

Tell me a little about your child and what you’d like help with. I’ll get back to you to discuss whether I might be able to help and what the next step could be.
